Hi Stuart. I think most of us are dying to know how you came to be a model in a life drawing class. Care to share?
“Hello Nikki. Oh, you know me – I’m happy to talk about myself all day. He he. Not really. But here goes:
I studied hard at college and got an offer to study accountancy at Princeton. I thought I had it made, right? But two years into the course I realized that accountancy just wasn’t for me. It was so serious. So…boring. So I left.
I thought my Mom would kill me! But she eventually understood that I need to be in a job where there’s color, fun, lots of great people. And so I got a job as a waiter in a Lower East Side diner in New York. I loved it! Got to meet great people, had a ball.
One of my regular customers suggested I should do modelling. I got signed to one of the mid-range model management agencies in New York and so that’s where I spend most of my days. But at night…well I like to show the world everything I’ve got, and so I do life drawing modelling by night. And I love it!”
Wow, that’s a great career path, Stuart. Thanks for sharing this with us. I’m looking forward to meeting you and the other characters in Picture Perfect on September 5th.
